3D Training works closely with it’s learners to ensure that they learn the skills required to achieve their future goals and build aspirations to help them make effective decisions about their future.

Our commitment to our learners are based of the Gatsby Benchmark to ensure we offer good careers guidance to all our learners and we do this through our CEIAG Pledge. The Pledge ensures that learners are well-informed, supported, and equipped to progress into employment, volunteering, further education or training, with a CEIAG approach that is comprehensive, personalised, and aligned with current labour market needs.

Our 10 CEIAG Pledges:

1. Subject-Specific Guidance: Integrate CEIAG into curriculum content to align learning with career goals through guest speakers and tailored signposting.

2. Careers Advertising via external agencies: To provide impartiality to our CEIAG and to provide learners with access to a range of diverse FE/Volunteer/Employers.

3. Maths, English, and Digital Skills: Identify learner levels early and embed essential skills into training plans, also offering signposting to additional support.

4. Post-Qualification Support: Offer follow-up support months post-completion, including exit interviews and destination tracking, to ensure sustained progression.

5. Internal Staff Training: Equip 3D staff with CEIAG training and qualifications, share best practices, and incorporate guest speakers to improve internal CEIAG delivery.

6. Raising Aspirations: Set ambitious, personalised targets and provide continuous feedback to encourage progression to meet long term aspirations.

7. External Encounters: Facilitate interactions with employers, alumni, and partners to offer real-world career insights and guidance.

8. Individualised Guidance: Use Individualised Action Planning and Careers Passports to provide personalised CEIAG aligned with learners’ starting points and goals.

9. Local Labour Market Responsiveness: Tailor CEIAG to reflect regional job market conditions, increasing relevance and employment prospects.

10. Effective Signposting: Strengthen partnerships and direct learners to appropriate next steps and support services beyond 3D.

Careers Passport

We also provide our learners with a Careers Passport guide to support them through the journey and contains supporting documentation in writing a CV, Action Planning, Interviews Tips and Online Directory for further support and guidance.
