Our Skills Bootcamp in Leadership & Management is a practical, CMI‑accredited programme designed to support Liverpool City Region employers, employees, and self‑employed professionals to strengthen their leadership and people management skills.
Part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, this programme is 90% funded and helps businesses develop confident leaders who can improve communication, performance, and productivity in the workplace.
Whether you are new to management, currently leading a team, or aiming to strengthen your leadership approach, this Bootcamp provides practical skills to help organisations run more smoothly and efficiently.
What You Will Learn
Throughout the programme, learners will develop practical leadership and management skills, including the ability to:
- Understand and apply the difference between leadership and management in the workplace
- Communicate clearly and confidently using effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
- Delegate tasks effectively and understand accountability within a management role
- Build and motivate high-performing teams
- Manage conflict and challenging behaviours constructively
- Support team wellbeing and create a positive, supportive working environment
- Lead teams through change and uncertainty with confidence
Learning is applied through real-world tasks, ensuring skills can be used straight away in day-to-day work.

Funding and Costs

For SMEs, the cost is £144 per person (90% funded via LCR funding).
- For businesses with 250 or more employees, the cost is £432 per person (70% funded via LCR funding).
